We got our start in this industry when we were somehow volunteered to help save our local high school band program some money by us making the drum line uniforms. Our local high school has around 1000 students but is located in the Ozark Mountains, so the weak economy has hit most of us. We charged $60 per set for each of the 21 drum line members. The members ranged from a petite 5′ 0″ girl to a 6’8″ basketball player.  Our percussion students were able to compete a year earlier because the cost of the uniforms were reduced. We really enjoyed making the uniforms and would like to make more if there is a program looking to save money.

The uniforms were made from stretch velvet polyester (pants and four color front shirt) and can be washed in cold water and dried on medium heat.

Some schools prefer the 4 color front, others a more “mythological” design, or a black and white motif:
